Our on-land adventures are a playful mix of nature, flavour, mindfulness, and discovery. From buzz-worthy encounters with bees to shell-ebrated PEI oysters, soothing sound journeys, sensory explorations, and moments of mindful calm, each experience is designed to help you slow down, tune in, and connect with the natural world in fun and fascinating ways.
Along the way you’ll pick up science-backed insights, surprising facts, and hands-on experiences that make learning feel like play. Come curious, bring your sense of wonder, and get ready to taste, listen, breathe, and bee fully present.
Step Into the Hive
Have you ever wondered what happens inside a beehive? Join local PEI beekeeper Jordan Dennis for a hands-on, honey-sweet adventure where you’ll learn all about the buzzing life of a honeybee colony! Discover the hive’s inner workings, meet the busy bees (safely, in a super-cool bee suit) and see just how these little pollinators make a big impact on PEI’s farms. And yes… you get to taste the golden goodness yourself! Sample raw, local PEI honey and see why it’s the bee’s knees. It’s going to be un-bee-lievably fun!
Oysters 101
Interested in learning about how oysters are grown and fished on PEI? Our Oysters 101 is the perfect experience for those looking for a land based educational culinary experience where you will learn about oysters from the past Provincial Oyster Biologist in PEI and you will even have a chance to learn how to shuck and how to prepare oysters 3-ways!
Forest Bathing
Our forest bathing walks aren’t woo-woo retreats where you hug a tree and call it a day (unless you really want to). Think science-meets-storytelling, mindfulness with a side of adventure, foraging finds, and fascinating nature interpretation. You’ll learn cool things, breathe deeper without trying too hard, and leave feeling clearer than when you arrived. 90-minutes of being truly present.
Summer Sound Escapes
Every Sunday this summer, Nature Space Resort is delighted to host the magical SoundEscapes Soundbath Experience with Trevor. These sessions have been a guest favourite since the day we opened, and once you experience it, you’ll understand why. This isn’t just a sound bath… it’s a full Sound Journey.
5-Senses Night Experience
Come explore your senses after dark in our signature night walk experience at Nature Space Resort. You will have a chance to learn about the science of your senses and gain appreciation for being in the woods after dark. This is a 60-90 minute guided experience that finishes with a campfire!
