Gentle Hatha
This gentle, beginner-friendly class blends mindful movement with anatomical alignment to ensure you approach postures safely based on your body. As a veterinarian, Heather has extensive anatomical knowledge and has focused on alignment, and an understanding of different body types to ensure participants gain flexibility through poses that work for them. Taught with a cozy, trauma-informed approach, you’ll always have clear choices for hands-on guidance or touch-free modifications. No performative poses, no flexibility test, just a safe, grounded reset to help you loosen your shoulders and feel good in your skin.
Vinyasa
Link movement with breath in a gentle, rhythmic flow designed to melt away mental chatter and bring you back into your body. This isn't a high-intensity workout or a race to accomplish pretzel-shaped poses. This is a breath-led practice that honors your body exactly where it's at today. By pairing fluid movement with embedded mindfulness, you’ll build gentle strength and mobility while giving your nervous system a chance to catch its breath. Quiet the inner noise, trade fatigue for calm focus, and leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and lighter on your feet.
Yin-Vin
Find the sweet spot between deep stillness and gentle movement. Our Yin-Vin class blends the best of both worlds to help your nervous system balance its energy and catch a well-deserved break. We begin the first half with floor-based Yin postures held for 1 to 5 minutes to melt away physical tension and quiet mental chatter. From there, we transition into a soft, slow-flowing Vinyasa inspired by moon salutations and soothing lunar energy work. It’s a rhythmic, breath-led reset that leaves you feeling fluid, grounded, and deeply at peace.
Sunday morning Yin & Meditation
Give your nervous system the long, uninterrupted reset it’s been begging for. Part deep bodywork focused on the fascia, and part soulful contemplation, this 90-minute immersion is designed to help you slow down, sink low, and drop the heavy mental weight you’ve been carrying. By holding gentle, floor-based postures for 3 to 10 minutes (all props provided), we target deep connective tissues and cultivate grounding, restorative energy. Thoughtfully curated poetry, evocative readings, and guided meditation are woven throughout each practice, anchored in weekly themes rooted in yin wisdom. You’ll leave with unburdened shoulders, a quiet mind, and a truly nourished spirit. Get YINspired!
Beach Yoga
Trade studio floors for soft sand, salty air, and the sound of rolling waves. Set at the magical St. Peters Lighthouse Beach, this class is a mindful seaside practice rooted in the natural beauty of one of PEI’s most special places. Adapting to the rhythm of the day’s weather, we move through an intuitive mix of Gentle Hatha alignment and flowing Vinyasa. Feel the sand beneath your toes, breathe in rhythm with the ocean, and let the coastal breezes wash away your mental chatter. It’s a pure, grounding reset that leaves you feeling refreshed, alive, and deeply connected to nature. ***Please note that if Mother Nature decides to misbehave, we move this class inside to the yoga yurt.
