Reframe Your Focus: A Mindful Photography Retreat
October 16-18, 2026
You are invited…
to see the world in a different way:
A slower way.
A softer way.
A way that asks you not to capture more, but to notice more.
In the quiet beauty of autumn, we invite you to join us for Reframe Your Focus, a two-night, three-day immersive retreat designed to gently unplug you from the digital noise and reconnect you with wonder.
This experience is co-created by Meghan Weber, a professional photographer and creative storyteller with over 20 years of experience behind the lens, and founder of Mirror Form Photography. Meghan’s work has been shaped from a lifelong love of film and darkroom photography; a craft she’s lived since age 12, and a passion for helping others find poetry in the ordinary.
This retreat was born from our shared love of creativity, nature, and the practice of presence. It offers an opportunity for creative renewal, and mindful connection, not just with the world around you, but with your own way of seeing it.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to truly see.
What You Will Experience
Reframe Your Focus is more than a photography retreat, it’s a digital detox, a creative reset, and an invitation to notice beauty as it unfolds around you.
Over three soul-nourishing days, you will:
Reconnect with the art of film photography
Receive and use film cameras designed to slow your pace, deepen your presence, and invite you into wonder.
No screens. No instant review. Just intuition, light, and sensory experience.
Explore nature with intention
Gentle forest bathing, autumn landscapes, mindful silence walks, and open time to wander, breathe, and observe.
Engage body and spirit
Gentle yoga sessions, nourishing meals, and restorative sound baths that support calm and creative focus.
Create with a beginner’s mind
Time set aside for exploration, not productivity. For curiosity, not perfection. For presence, not performance.
This retreat is rooted in mindful practice, curiosity, and the joy of noticing what is already here before it slips by. It’s for anyone who wants to see more deeply, live more intentionally, and let creativity unfold without expectation.
A Retreat of Depth and Delight
Fall is a season of transformation; soft light, shifting color, quiet beauty. We invite you to step into that space fully: to be still, to breathe, and to capture life from the inside out.
Whether you are new to photography or simply looking to reawaken your creative spirit, this retreat offers a rich blend of presence, community, and artistic play.
Come unplug.
Come be present.
Come REFRAME YOUR FOCUS.
With gratitude and wonder,
Heather & Meghan

Meghan Weber
Hi, I'm Meghan (she/her) I’ve been obsessed with photography since I was 12. In high school, I was that kid with the key to the darkroom, spending countless hours developing film thrilling at the sight of my image rising in the developer. To say I’m a photo nerd is putting it lightly, I live and breathe this art form. For the last 20 years, I’ve had the honour of capturing life’s moments, big and small. While I once specialized in weddings, I’ve recently shifted my focus to branding photography. This pivot has allowed me to channel my creativity in a way that’s exciting and fun. My approach is all about you , your passion, your story, your "why." I believe that the best images happen when we collaborate, and I thrive on crafting a curated experience to showcase your unique vibe and vision. In turn offering images that connects you and your ideal customer. Beyond branding, I’ve also created something close to my heart, a mindful photography retreat. Designed for digital detox and creative recharge, it blends the magic of film cameras with meditation and mindfulness practices. It’s perfect for corporate health and wellness retreats or anyone looking to reconnect with their creativity. Whether I’m styling a shoot or helping you find poetry in the mundane, I’m here to capture what makes you unforgettable. I have many interests that fuel my photography. I am a singer-songwriter, dabble with paint, love to read, and travel. I'm also a mom and live with my family of 3 in Fall River Nova Scotia.

Trevor Grant
Trevor Grant has been performing his magical SoundEscapes sound journeys here at Nature Space Resort since we opened. Trevor says "I have been fascinated by sound for as long as I can remember, be it the wind in the trees, a metal railing echoing in a great hall, a rock band in full flight or the most delicate tap of a cymbal, it all speaks to me. As a percussionist I get to explore and release all sorts of frequencies, from primal beats of a drum to the gentle sparkle of tiny bells, Adding the breath of wooden flutes creates a palette of sounds that allow for a full range of expression. For me, music is a multi-sensory experience, something that is not only heard, but felt. My hope for my SoundEscape sessions is for people to experience sound and music in a deeper more attentive way than usual and to bring attention to the important role our sonic environment can play in our daily lives."
