Let us take care of you during this all-inclusive retreat experience
All inclusive retreat package includes:
- A chance to explore nature both on the water and on land
- Daily yoga practices with Heather suitable for all levels
- Kayak instruction with Jarrod and a paddle to a secluded beach for lunch with a sunset paddle home
- Explore hiking trails and wildlife as part of a guided experience in Curu National Wildlife Reserve including a guided horseback riding experience to a secluded white sand beach.
- Full day kayak tour of tropical dry forest coastline and a mangrove river with a wide variety of birds.
- A unique and amazing bioluminescence kayak experience in Paquera Bay
- Amazing boat ride (and kayak shuttle) to Isla Tortugas for kayaking and a fantastic snorkelling opportunity, as well as a chance to enjoy the white sand beaches of Isla Tortugas with an island lunch
- All meals once you arrive at the retreat venue (Bahia Rica) which also includes an amazing Oceanview dining experience for our final celebration supper
- Group Shuttle from Liberia to Bahia Rica to start the adventure as well as return trip back to Liberia
- We are including a single night accommodation in Liberia for the evening of March 19, 2027. The group will meet up the next morning for the shuttle out to the retreat location at Bahia Rica!
Itinerary (click on each date to expand the itinerary)
We recommend participants plan to arrive a day or two early to allow themselves to acclimate to the warm weather as well as allow for travel disruptions. It can also be a great opportunity to extend your time in Costa Rica or explore other areas. If you do arrive early, this is not included in the price of the retreat.
All guests will need to be in Liberia on the start date of the retreat on March 19, 2027. That first evening (March 19, 2027) accommodation in Liberia is included. The entire group will be staying that evening at the same place so we are prepared for the private shuttle on the morning of the March 20th.
The following morning the group will be picked up at 8am and take a private shuttle to our retreat venue in Paquera on the Nicoya Peninsula. The breakfast at your accomodations on April 12th and the shuttle to Paquera are all included in the price of the retreat package. The shuttle will stop along the way for a break (coffee/snacks and a chance to stretch and use the washroom. Any purchases at this break stop are not included in the retreat fee).

- Guided interpretive nature and wildlife walk with an expert local guide. Learn about medicinal and edible plants and the history of the area.

Want to know more about the resort and accommodations at Bahia Rica?
At Bahia Rica you will be staying in comfortable rooms in a real jungle setting. There a few main accommodation types. There is the Treehouse Lodge that has three rooms immersed in the jungle. These rooms do not have air conditioning, but have fans for each bed. Those three rooms share a washroom. There is the Jungle Cabana, which has a private bathroom and small kitchenette. The Cabana has a fan for the bed. There are also two modern cottages each with more modern finishes and self contained washroom and kitchens. The place is perfect for relaxing in a hammock and enjoying the jungle sounds. We will have water access right from the resort for our kayaking excursions. There is also access to walking trails along the jungle paths.
This is a relaxed atmosphere that is surrounding Bahia Rica, with common areas for eating and socializing. Bahia Rica is at Punta Cuchillo on Costa Rica’s west coast. This location was selected as it is off-the-beaten path and you will get a chance to see more wildlife than nightlife, shopping and restaurants. The eco-resort is perfect for people who enjoy a calm atmosphere away from the main tourist trails.
