Introduction to Mindfulness (Online)
Start the new year with greater ease, balance, and presence.
This 4-week live online course, led by Heather from Nature Space, offers a gentle, practical introduction to the foundations of mindfulness. You’ll learn simple tools to help calm the mind, release tension, and respond to life’s challenges with more steadiness and compassion. Nature Space also offers a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program, but understands that the full 8-week program may be less affordable or achievable for some, and have created this introductory course as a more accessible option.
Designed for anyone curious about mindfulness — whether you’re brand new or looking to refresh your practice — this series gives you a supportive space to explore, connect, and learn. This is a fully synchronous, interactive course (not pre-recorded). Week by week we’ll gather with Heather and a small group to learn and be guided in mindfulness, gentle movement, group discussion, reflection, and Q&A.
There are two separate 4-week sessions this winter: Sunday, January 18-February 8 – AND – Sunday March 1-March 22, 2026. Both start at 4:00pm and end at 5:30pm (Atlantic time).

Understand what mindfulness is (and isn’t)
-
Develop awareness of thoughts, emotions, and body sensations
-
Use the breath as an anchor for calm and clarity
-
Respond rather than react to stress
-
Bring short, mindful moments into everyday life
No special equipment or experience is needed — just an internet connection, a quiet spot, and an open heart.
