Connections: A Couple's Retreat

February 5-7, 2027

Rediscover Your Favourite Person

Let’s be honest….modern romance can easily turn into sitting side-by-side on the sofa, scrolling other people’s lives on instagram, while intermittently asking, “What do you want to do for supper?”

Life is chaotic, kid’s schedules are nuts, work emails are unrelenting, and somewhere between the grocery lists and the laundry piles, the person you fell in love with became your roommate and project manager.

Connections is a weekend dedicated to ditching the screens, leaving the logistics at home, and getting back to what you two a great team in the first place. Don’t worry, there won’t be any forced vulnerability or interpretive dance, just great food, fresh winter air and real time with the person you love the most.

Dates: February 5-7

Remember when you two used to hang out? Let's do that again!

*What’s Included*

Cozy Accommodations In Nature

Settle into your peaceful retreat space and step away from the noise of daily life. Enjoy a restorative weekend stay designed to offer total sanctuary, quiet rest, and effortless connection with nature.

Chef’s Supper

A 3-course meal, prepared by Richard Charon from Noble Chef featuring soup, beef or salmon, and a chocolate dessert. Sit down and dine with other like-minded couples while a private chef takes care of all of the details for dinner!

Soundbath

Trevor Grant from SoundEscapes will lead you through a magical soundbath to help you connect and relax.

Partner Yoga

Don’t panic! You’re not going to be om’ing and turning into a pretzel, this class is about having fun and finding a connection to each other. It’s perfect for beginners, and it’s totally ok to laugh at yourself (and your partner). The goal is to embrace a bit of mindful movement together whether you’re an experienced yogi or a complete newbie.

Spacious Free Time & Integration

Enjoy dedicated time to spend entirely as your heart desires, whether that means quiet reflection, exploring surrounding nature trails, or simply resting by the fire without an agenda. We’ll have a masseuse and a reiki practitioner onsite for add-on massages and intuitive healing sessions. Plus, the saunas will be fired up for some hot/cold therapy.

Aphrodesiac Dinner

Oysters are very high in zinc, which helps maintain normal testosterone and dopamine levels (a neurotransmitter linked to pleasure and sexual response). Don’t worry, if oysters aren’t your thing, there’s more! With your oyster experience, we’ll serve an amazing charcuterie spread filled with local delights including PEI cheeses, meats, veggies, pickles, mustards, chutneys and more. to top it all of we’ll send you back to your space with a chocolate fondue for 2. Oh la la!

Savor completely prepared, wholesome, and comforting  meals throughout the weekend. All meals from our Friday welcome supper to Sunday closing breakfast are included, and are crafted to nourish your body and feed your soul

This Retreat is For You If:

  • You love each other fiercely, but your daily conversations have devolved into chore logistics and kids’ schedules.
  • One of you had to be promised there wouldn’t be mandatory trust falls to even look at this page.
  • You want a weekend that feels like a cozy, luxurious getaway with great company, not relationship boot camp.

The Three Ingredients

1. Serious Food, Zero Dishes

Sharing great food is one of the most underrated forms of intimacy. Nature Space will take care of every single meal. You don’t have to plan it, cook it, or clean the pan someone left “soaking” in the sink.

2. Nature That Doesn’t Require a Survival Guide

Bundle up for crisp winter trail walks, and thaw in front of your woodstove. It’s hard to stay stressed when the trees don’t have Wi-Fi.

3. Play, Banter, and Actual Reconnection

We’re not here to dissect what’s broken, we’re here to fan the flames of what’s already great. Play, get curious, and laugh more than you have in months!

Optional Add-Ons

  • Relaxation Massage with Jocelyne Ludgate

  • Intuitive Healing Session with Charlene McFadden

  • Extra nights at Nature Space can be added for 20% off either before or after the main event.

Jarrod has used cold water therapy for years through his athletic career, but recently has begun to implement many of the breath work and mindfulness strategies to broaden his understanding and use of cold water. He is currently completing his Cold Water Therapy Diploma and has begun training on the Wim Hof Method. He is also a passionate naturalist and outdoor leader. He is one of the most highly certified sea kayak instructors in Atlantic Canada with Paddle Canada and has had the pleasure of leading programs & expeditions as well attending sea kayak gatherings as a guest coach all across Canada, the United States and beyond through his sea kayak instructional business – Cloud 9 Adventures.

Chef Richard Charon

With over 20 years of professional culinary experience, Richard Charron has built a career defined by discipline, creativity, and a deep respect for craft. Trained in French and Italian cuisine, he has developed a style rooted in quality, refinement, and innovation — but for Richard, food has always been more than a profession. It is personal. It is a story of passion, perseverance, discovery, and reconnection. Raised on Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) by his single mother, a survivor of the Sixties Scoop, Richard grew up disconnected from his Métis heritage. Although food was always central to his life, it was not until his return to PEI in 2021 that he began intentionally reconnecting with his Indigenous roots. While his culinary foundation is shaped by classical European training, his approach is guided by values that align closely with his heritage: respect for ingredients, seasonality, sustainability, and preservation.

Trevor Grant

Trevor Grant has been performing his magical SoundEscapes sound journeys here at Nature Space Resort since we opened. Trevor says "I have been fascinated by sound for as long as I can remember, be it the wind in the trees, a metal railing echoing in a great hall, a rock band in full flight or the most delicate tap of a cymbal, it all speaks to me. As a percussionist I get to explore and release all sorts of frequencies, from primal beats of a drum to the gentle sparkle of tiny bells, Adding the breath of wooden flutes creates a palette of sounds that allow for a full range of expression. For me, music is a multi-sensory experience, something that is not only heard, but felt. My hope for my SoundEscape sessions is for people to experience sound and music in a deeper more attentive way than usual and to bring attention to the important role our sonic environment can play in our daily lives."

Jocelyn Ludgate

Retired RMT, Jocelyne Ludgate, is excited to bring her intuitive and calming style of treatment to Nature Space Resort. Jocelyne's blend of heat therapy, essential oils and empathic touch creates a rejuvinating and healing experience. Jocelyne specialized in Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Sports Massage with a special interest in low back pain rehabilitation and head, neck and shoulder treatments.
